Fighting Friends

Dear Spirit Essences,

I have two cats (adopted at the same time) that have been inseparable for 5 years. Now bullying has taken over and I have to keep them separate much of the time. They previously slept, ate and snuggled together all the time, even grooming each other! They will still do all of these things, but if my male cat blocks, stares or chases, the female will hiss, run, hide and sometime urinate and/or defecate. What formula(s) do you suggest?

Hello Georgean,

I’m sorry to hear this is going on! From what you have shared, it sounds like our Ultimate Peacemaker set would be helpful. This set consists of:

  • Bully Remedy: helps to reduce dominant tendencies and aggressive "bully" behavior in animals.
  • Peacemaker: helps to ease conflict between animals.
  • Self-Esteem: helps picked-on "victim" animals stand up for themselves.

We suggest that you administer Bully Remedy to your male cat 3-4 times a day, add Peacemaker to the community water bowl 3-4 times a day, and administer Self-Esteem to your female cat 3-4 times a day.

We hope this was helpful!

Our formulas work best when used consistently - meaning tapping the bottom of the bottle on the palm of your hand immediately before administering, 3-4 times a day, and 3-5 drops each time.

Please remember that Jackson Galaxy's Spirit Essences work best when part of a more holistic treatment program, which may include proper veterinary care, diet, behavior modification, and other holistic modalities.
